Terms and conditions

1. Who are we?
Yitch bv
Lodderstraat 4, 2880 Bornem, Belgium
Company number (VAT): BE0465.581.489
Email: info@yitch.be
Phone: +32 3 711 32 93
2. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed via yitch-landing-pages.ddev.site/food. By placing an order, you accept them. They do not affect the rights the law gives you as a consumer. If a provision is invalid, the others remain in force.
3. Offer and prices
We describe our products as accurately as possible. Photos and colours on a screen may differ slightly from the real product; this does not affect your right to a product that matches your order. All prices are in euros, including VAT. You see shipping and other costs clearly before you confirm the order. Obvious mistakes in the offer, such as a clearly wrong price, do not bind us.
4. Order
The contract is concluded as soon as you confirm and pay for the order. You receive a confirmation by email with an overview of your order. If a product turns out to be unavailable, we let you know as soon as possible and refund you immediately.
5. Payment
You pay online via [payment methods]. Payment takes place over a secure connection of the payment provider.
6. Delivery
We deliver to Belgium, to the address you give when ordering. We deliver within 30 days of your order, unless a different period is stated for the product. If that is not possible, we let you know and you may cancel the order free of charge. The risk of loss or damage only passes to you when you, or someone you designated, take possession of the product.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. That period starts the day after you, or someone you designated, receive the (last) product.
To withdraw from the contract, you inform us unambiguously before the end of the period: by email to info@yitch.be, with the model form below, or via the withdrawal function on our website [link to the withdrawal function].
Return the product within 14 days of your withdrawal, unused and in its original packaging where reasonably possible. You may handle the product as you would in a shop; if you are responsible for a loss in value because you used it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may charge you for it. The costs of returning the product are for you. If a product by its nature cannot normally be returned by post, we state an estimate of those costs with that product.
We refund everything you paid, including the costs of standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment, unless we agree otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent it back.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among other things, products made to measure or to your specifications, products that deteriorate quickly, sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed, and digital content whose supply started with your express consent.
8. Conformity and legal guarantee
You have the right to a product that conforms to the contract. New products come with a legal guarantee of 2 years from delivery. Report a defect as soon as possible after discovering it, via info@yitch.be. You are then entitled to repair or replacement, free of charge. If that is not possible or not reasonable, you are entitled to a price reduction or to have the sale dissolved. A commercial guarantee from the manufacturer comes on top of this legal guarantee, not instead of it.
9. Liability
We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect or improper use of a product. This limitation does not apply to damage caused by intent or gross negligence, and does not affect your rights as a consumer.
10. Privacy
We process your data as described in our privacy policy.
11. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact us first via info@yitch.be. We will look for a solution together. If that fails, you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, www.consumentenombudsdienst.be.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes go to the competent court; as a consumer, you can always turn to the court of your place of residence.
